Emily feels most at home in the outdoors, whether it be the mountains or the coast, she isn’t picky. She has managed to experience two summers a year, spending half the year in Chile. Throughout her childhood she participated in a variety of team sports including competitive swimming for 8 of those years. She has over 15 years of experience with children of all ages from formal coaching to teaching wilderness skills such as rock climbing and backpacking. She brings her wealth of experience plus a gentle, patient demeanor with an infectious smile; qualities we find so important with swim instruction.

Charlie’s passion for serving students and helping kids grow has lead him to serving as a para-educator in the school district and working with kids with special needs. Charlie uses songs and games to bring goal focused learning to swimming. Charlie teaches adaptive aquatics, parents and children of all levels.
With a passion for swimming, owner Sam Sandquist has over 10 years of lifeguard and swim instruction experience. His love for teaching children stretches beyond the pool to the field where he has coached numerous soccer teams and sport camps. Growing up in California, Sam swam year round and he didn't want the Pacific Northwest to change that.
